3 Ways to Get Started with Socialite April 1st, 2015 Damian Trzebunia Damian Trzebunia Damian Trzebunia Read More About Damian Damian Trzebunia By now, you may have heard about the new app available for the Bronto Marketing Platform. It’s called Socialite. And it’s the coolest thing since … well, probably since our last app. In all seriousness, Socialite is one of our richest apps. It almost feels like four apps in one. With Socialite, we’re giving you the flexibility to combine email and social media in a variety of ways. Wondering how to get started? Here are three ideas you could try with very little effort but with potentially awesome results. 1. Grow Your Email List on Facebook & Twitter Looking for more contacts to market to? Add a tab to your Facebook page to capture email opt-ins. With Socialite’s drag-and-drop form builder, create the look you want and instantly publish your new tab to Facebook with the click of a button. Socialite also lets you capture opt-ins from Twitter Lead Generation Cards. 2. Find Your Next Best Customer Pick your favorite segment in Bronto. The one that makes you say, “I wish I had more customers like that.” Now, use Socialite to create a Custom Audience and then a Lookalike Audience based on that segment. In Socialite, go to Facebook Audiences and click + New Audience. What a simple and automated way for you to tell Facebook what you like in a customer based on your experience with Bronto. This puts the Facebook algorithms to work for you by generating lookalikes, which you can then target with ads. These could be your next best customers! 3. Drive Sales with Bronto + Instagram Once you’ve set up Instagram Shopping in Socialite, here’s an example of what you can do. Pick your favorite product. A topseller? A new arrival? Maybe a sentimental favorite? Promote it with an Instagram post. Socialite will automatically trigger Bronto emails promoting that product to those interested Instagrammers who Like your post. Creating the triggers is simple. In Socialite, go to Instagram Shopping and click + New Trigger. Fill in the product tag from your Instagram post, select the message you’d like to send, and name your trigger. Socialite even tracks revenue and engagement metrics so you can see how your emails are performing. Can’t do all three? Just pick one and let us know how it goes with a comment below.
