The amazing speaker lineup at Bronto Summit 2017 just got better. Uri Minkoff, co-founder and CEO of fashion giant Rebecca Minkoff, is joining the conference as our main keynote speaker.
Minkoff is a retail innovator – a rising star and visionary whose groundbreaking use of technology is revolutionizing retail operations and marketing like never before.
Minkoff’s willingness to incorporate new technology, and his attention to what drives consumers today, has resulted in substantial growth for the Rebecca Minkoff brand.
His retail operations and technology experiments are key drivers of the company’s most recent success – the “See Now, Buy Now” initiative. This dynamic, customer-focused campaign lets
shoppers purchase the brand’s new seasonal fashions shortly after their runway debut.
Minkoff’s presentation will focus on the growing role technology plays in bridging the gap between online and in-store experience, and how retailers, regardless of their position in the market, can better use data to guide strategy and gain a competitive edge.
He’ll also share some of the exciting ways Rebecca Minkoff uses cutting-edge technologies to provide a richer, hyper-personalized shopping experience.
Minkoff has been instrumental in introducing “smart mirrors” to dressing rooms at select Rebecca Minkoff stores, which let shoppers browse different sizes and save their shopping activity – all from the comfort of the dressing room.
He’s also helped incorporate virtual reality into Rebecca Minkoff runway shows and has partnered with augmented reality app Zeekit, which lets women see, through an app on their phone, how the latest runway designs look on their bodies.
Later this year, Minkoff plans to launch a series of Rebecca Minkoff “smart bags” that will provide exclusive rewards, such as concert tickets and gift cards, to their owner based on individual interest and location.
Not only do these technologies help the retailer stay better connected with customers, they also provide data that fuels business intelligence and help grow the Minkoff brands.
During his talk, Minkoff will also reveal how he’s streamlining data collection by using Amazon Alexa to gain vital insight into business intelligence. For example, asking Alexa for last year’s best-selling color handbag in the Los Angeles area.
“We’re thrilled to have Uri Minkoff as a keynote at Bronto Summit,” said Susan Wall, Bronto vice president of marketing. “With the growing need to deliver a hyper-personal experience to shoppers, regardless of channel, Minkoff’s use of technology to drive innovation will give Bronto Summit attendees powerful insights into how they can enhance their marketing efforts.”
