When you think of an office, a foosball table, gumball machine, beer kegs and free snacks might not immediately come to mind … unless you work at Bronto. That’s right! Those are just a few of the enviable perks Bronto offers its employees.

Founded in 2002, Bronto is headquartered in Durham, North Carolina. And in 2004, with seven employees and 140 clients, Bronto became the first tenant to move into the newly renovated American Tobacco Campus in Durham. Now, with well over 300 employees and five locations, you could say we’ve expanded just a bit.

And the dino isn’t the only thing that’s green around here. As we’ve grown, Bronto has acquired more and more space on the ATC campus, all while incorporating environmentally-friendly renovation practices, even using recycled blue jeans in the insulation.

Have you ever wondered what our headquarters looks like inside? Let me show you around our space.

We have over 250 Brontos here at HQ. 100 of those rock stars are engineers.

Our office space takes over two buildings, with plenty of meeting spaces and quiet areas to get your work done. I’ll show you some of my favorite spots.

An office isn’t complete without a green hammock … and a walking treadmill.

Throughout the building, there are areas to collaborate, score some quiet time or just get away from your desk for a while. No matter how you like to work, there’s a spot for you here.

In the main building, our conference rooms are named for professional wrestlers. The engineers decided to name the ones in their digs after local breweries – everything from Lonerider to Ponysaurus to Mystery. They even organized a Bronto brewery crawl to visit a number of them in person.

We also have multiple game rooms that you can use anytime, but especially when you grab a beer on Fridays during our weekly Occupy. And in true Bronto tradition, what’s the point of game rooms without a little competition? Throughout the year, we have a number of tournaments, including pool, high-speed connect-four, ping-pong and cornhole.

A stocked kitchen is a happy office. Our space has two kitchens filled with snacks, drinks and a coffee machine.

Our spacious Thunderdome hosts our monthly News ’N’ Noms, social activities and large meetings.

Our open office space is made up of pods and rolling cabinets. This open setup contributes to a collaborative work environment, that I really enjoy!

And last, but not least, I leave you with my favorite area: our outdoor space. With an epic view and wifi, it’s a great way to get a breath of fresh air without slowing down.
