Best of the Blogosphere: Are You Ready?

by Kelly Lorenz on October 29, 2009 · 3 comments

best_of_blogosphere1The new bill out of Canada (Bill C-27), which seeks to regulate email marketing, was the biggest debate this week.  But other hot topics such as holiday email tips (by the way, it’s almost November!), an analysis of the impact of Google Wave’s introduction; arguments on the importance of subscriber preferences; and general design tips also garnered a lot of attention.

What do you think the impact will be of Bill C-27? Are you in favor of or against the (potentially) new regulations? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

I’m glad you enjoyed my article, but I’m fairly certain I didn’t mention email marketing anywhere in it.

Jim - Welcome to the email marketing “family”! Thanks for putting great content out there for me to share.

J.D. - Fair point, I did make the leap from what your article is saying about Google Wave’s potential to kill email and applied it to email marketing as the introduction has the potential to impact everyone that uses email as a communication (and revenue) vehicle, which includes email marketers. I apologize for making a jump to saying that’s what your article is about. Thanks for stopping by and clarifying!
