@Olivier - We have added the negatives for each of the comparison operators. So you'll have contains and does not contain, equals and does not equals, etc.

It's not as easy as saying something is the "opposite" of another segment. There are often multiple criteria for a segment, if we negated all of those criteria it probably wouldn't yield the results you expected. However, you can easily copy a segment then modify it as needed. That's probably the fastest way to accomplish an opposite segment.

In terms of segments based off of other segments in general, it doesn't look like we'll have that in this release. There are a lot of issues with segments that reference other segments, in terms of complexity, loops, and ensuring that we can provide expected and understandable results. We will be working towards providing some capabilities around this in the future.

Thanks for commenting!

Things I just found I need in the segment builder: the ability to do a "does not contain" against the email field, and/or the ability to use a segment to define another one (e.g. define a segment as the opposite of another, or the sum of several, if that makes sense).

@Amanda Glad you're liking the headers, that should be huge for helping with consistency and reducing errors.

@Casey Yea, the segment builder is amazing. It's going to blow you away.

Keep the Bronto love coming!

Super excited about the headers - that's going to be so helpful. Maybe with all the time saved, I'll be able to take a vacation in 2009. Love You Bronto!
