@Chad – I’d love to see some of their welcome messages from 2005. I see a “fun” blog post brewing on refreshing content every…uh…3 years (at least?)

@Kelly – Good question re Newegg.com. Since their welcome message I’ve received the following emails (opened zero):

*April 24 (3 days after sign up and welcome message)
*May 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 28, 30
*June 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 18, 24

There does not seem to be any pattern. Interesting that I’ve now received 18 emails from Newegg (including Welcome Message) and have only opened the first one. Food for thought.

Have you received additional communications since then? I have not and wondered whether Id be bombarded with all sorts of weekly deals but guess next steps or communications would/should be telling me to set up my account preferences …

I bet it still has the 2005 copyright notice at the bottom of it, which means they haven’t even looked at it since then.
