Reporting Groups
Reporting Groups enable you to build custom reporting that aggregates and compares delivery statistics.
For example, you might create a Reporting Group that contains all of your “Monthly Newsletters” so that you can assess your performance over time. Or perhaps you want to roll up reporting for all of your email campaigns for the month of December. Reporting Groups make it easy.
- Create multiple Reporting Groups.
- View aggregate and average statistics.
- Compare opens, click-throughs, turnover, and conversions per delivery.
New Hosting Interface
The new Hosting tab interface simplifies file management and provides a new “Recently Modified” view that allows quick access to recent files.
Merge
Use the Merge feature to combine multiple lists and/or segments into a new list. Or, save a segment as a new list.
New Reporting Category – Turnover
The new “Turnover” metric aggregates all contacts lost in a mailing – either by unsubscribe or complaint. The metric appears in delivery reporting to display lost contacts as a percentage of those that received the mailing and also as a percentage of your total number of active contacts.
Turnover numbers will also display in Reporting Group charts and graphs.
New Contact Notification
Configure Bronto to send a notification to you – or to someone else – each time a contact completes a web form.

Will there be training on these new features? I can’t wait, they sound great!
Sure, Chris. We’ll have documentation and FAQs available next week. We’re also weaving these features into all of our training webcasts. Look for more details next week.
When will you guys add an optin form builder for webpages that builds lists automatically, a la http://www.aweber.com ?
Mike – I suspect that our Landing Pages feature will suit your needs. Click on the Site tab in the your account, then the Landing Pages sub-tab to access a feature that enables you to build opt-in website forms.
Yeah, I messed around with that, but it was way too complicated…external style sheets, etc. have you looked at aweber’s platform? man, for $20 bucks a month their wysiwyg web form generator is soooooooo easy to use. plus, you can set up unlimited autoresponders…also, very simple… does bronto let us set up autoresponders? That’s a cash cow for internet marketers, and a must. If you combined the optin list building tools with autoresponders, I would ditch aweber…for now, aweber is a no-brainer.
Thanks – the reporting groups will be helpful. Any idea when you will add the ability to send a message to a typed-in email address (vs. having to send to a list). This would be really helpful when it is a one-time thing…
Thanks for the feedback, Joan. We’re always looking for ways to make Bronto better, so I appreciate your insight. We’ll have details on our next round of updates in a few weeks. Stay tuned…
