We’re close to releasing a new set of enhancements that will bring more flexibility to template-based messages. Click on the thumbnails below to preview screenshots of the new features:
The Edit Tab

We’ve added a feature that enables you to duplicate, delete, and re-order entire sections of content in your templates.
Most of the Bronto’s pre-made templates will inherit this functionality. Also, note that you will be able to build this functionality into your custom templates.
Otherwise, the Edit Tab works exactly the same as the current template editor - click the
area you wish to edit and supply your content in the pop-up box.
The Outline Tab

The Outline Tab provides a simplified means to edit template content by listing all of your template blocks. Edit a block by clicking the appropriate link and supplying your content.
The Preview Tab

The Preview Tab provides a preview of your message. You can easily toggle between the three tabs to ensure that edits create the intended finished result.
Lastly, note that these changes will not adversely affect any of your existing templates - they will work as usual. However, if you would like to add repeatable sections to your custom templates, then you will need to add a few lines of code.
These features are still a week or two away from being moved into
production. We’ll post another update with more screen shots and a
link to documentation soon.
Let us know if you have any questions or feedback in the meantime.

Our first ever Recruiting Open House - hosted last Thursday night, October 12 - was a smashing success! The event drew over 50 prospective Brontos, many of whom we’ve already contacted for follow-up conversations.
In between working the crowd and working the chips and guac, I snapped a few photos of the event. Read on below for a quick recap of the evening’s festivities.
PS - Take a look at our careers page to learn more about the positions we’re looking to fill.

Big Bronto quietly presided over the evening from his corner of the office.

Joe delivered a company presentation every 30 minutes to small groups of attendees.

Ed, Justin, Matt, and Curtis wooed prospective developers with tales of scalable databases, BBQ lunches, and World of Warcraft triumphs.

Chaz was a popular guy throughout the evening.

The event at full-throttle. (Though accidental, the blurriness of the photo accurately conveys the pace of the evening.)

Based on your feedback, we are expanding the support resources available to you. Going forward, you will have the full force of the Bronto Support team working to respond to your needs. This will translate to faster response times and greater access to technical resources.
We’ve enabled a “Contact Support” form that you can use to contact the Bronto Support team. You can access this form via the link in the header on every page in your account. Enter your question(s) , with a detailed description, just as you would an email, submit the form, and the Support Team will quickly triage your request for response. This form replaces the current email & phone methods for interacting with Bronto Support. You will find this method faster and easier to use than current methods.
You will still have a “Lead Support Associate” that is responsible for your orientation and overall satisfaction at Bronto. We will display their contact information on the support form. Feel free to get in touch with your Lead Associate at any time.
Thank you for your feedback & support!
