Are you having problems logging in to Bronto? Are you running Google Web Accelerator? If so, just turn it off. Problem solved!
Google Web Accelerator is a plug-in for your web browser that pre-fetches web pages so they appear to load faster. When you visit a web page, Google’s software “clicks” every link on the page in an effort to preload the content on the linked pages that you may eventually read.
While this certainly speeds things up for some web surfers, it also can create a whole host of problems when it comes to web-based applications like blog software, email applications, online banking, and — you guessed it — your precious email marketing solution.
In Bronto’s case, Google Web Acclerator automatically logs users out of their account before they’re even logged in. Essentially, Google Web Accelerator is “clicking” the “Sign Out” link and sending you right back to the login page.
Although the problem is a bit perplexing, it is easy to solve. You can either turn the program off completely or just turn it off for Bronto.
