Wednesday Webcasts

July 13th, 2006 by Bronto Software

One of our account managers will lead a
comprehensive product demo every Wednesday at 2PM EST. The webcast is free and open to all Bronto
users.

These presentations will be useful for Brontos that need a product
orientation (or re-orientation) or those that would like to brush up on the latest features.

The webcast will cover the what, the why, and the how of Bronto.  In addition to a high-level overview of the application, we will dig down into the important details to show you how the elements combine into a smart email management system.

Here are the details for the call:

  • When: Wednesdays at 2PM EST

  • Conference ID: 23129

New IP Addresses

July 11th, 2006 by Bronto Software

We’ve acquired more IP addresses as a part of our effort to expand Bronto’s mailing capacity.  The new addresses are:

66.179.252.4 - 66.179.252.14

If you "whitelist" Bronto as a trusted sender at your organization or for a client’s organization, then you should whitelist each address to ensure consistent delivery.

Alternatively, you could whitelist the entire range - 66.179.252.*.  However, you should note that there are numerous non-Bronto IP addresses included in this class.

We are not sending mail from all of these addresses at present.  For now, we’re in the process of configuring mail servers and whitelisting the IP addresses with AOL, Yahoo!, and other leading ISPs.

We’ll keep you posted as we begin to bring more mail server capacity online.

Click-Through Overlay

July 11th, 2006 by Bronto Software

Use the click-through overlay feature to better understand how your contacts respond to your message and where they’re more likely to click. Use this information to optimize message design and content for future mailings.

Below is a screenshot of the feature on our staging site. We’ll run it through our Q/A and testing processess this week and will update the blog when it is live. We plan to have it in production by the end of the week.

July 10 Product Update

July 10th, 2006 by Bronto Software

We added 2 significant enhancements to the application today.

“ORs” allow you to build more complex segments. When you construct a segment, choose to find contacts that match “all” or “any” of your criteria. For example, locate contacts where the state field contains “NC” OR the zip code field contains “27701″.

Agency customers can share individual templates with sub-accounts. For example, share “Template A” with Client A and share “Template B” with Client B.

Note that templates that you had previously stored in your “Shared Templates” folder are automatically shared to all of your sub accounts.
